Good news is IRS has recently released a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freefilefillableforms.com\/#\/fd\/EconomicImpactPayment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">nueva herramienta<\/a> to help non-filers register for coronavirus checks\/economic stimulus payments.<\/p>\n<h2>Who is eligible for the Economic Impact Payment?<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"single border-0 pb-0 mb-0\">\n<li>Have a valid Social Security number,<\/li>\n<li>Could not be claimed as a dependent of another taxpayer, and<\/li>\n<li>Had adjusted gross income under certain limits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"container text-left\">\n<h2>I file my taxes every year , Do I need to register?<\/h2>\n<p>NO!<\/p>\n<p>Most eligible U.S. taxpayers will automatically receive their Economic Impact Payments including:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"single border-0 pb-0 mb-0\">\n<li>Individuals who filed a federal income tax for 2018 or 2019<\/li>\n<li>Individuals who receive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssa.gov\/benefits\/retirement\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Social Security retirement<\/a> o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssa.gov\/disability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Social Security Disability Insurance benefits<\/a> (read further if you have dependents)<\/li>\n<li>Individuals who receive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rrb.gov\/Benefits\/Retirement\/GeneralInfoRetirement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Railroad Retirement benefits<\/a>(read further if you have dependents)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"container text-left\">\n<h2>Who is a Non-Filer?<\/h2>\n<p>Non-Filers are US citizens and permanent residents whose total income for the year doesn&#8217;t exceed certain thresholds. If your income is below that threshold, you generally do not need to file a federal tax return.<\/p>\n<p>You are a Non-Filer if you\u2019re a US citizen or permanent resident and meets one of the criteria below:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"single border-0 pb-0 mb-0\">\n<li>Had gross income that did not exceed $12,200 ($24,400 for married couples) for 2019<\/li>\n<li>Were not otherwise required to file a federal income tax return for 2019, and didn&#8217;t plan to<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"container text-left\">\n<h2>Any other information for Non-Filers with Dependents?<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"single border-0 pb-0 mb-0\">\n<li>Veterans beneficiaries and Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients can either use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freefilefillableforms.com\/#\/fd\/EconomicImpactPayment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Non-Filers registration process<\/a> or wait as the IRS continues to review automatic payment options to simplify delivery for these groups<\/li>\n<li>Social Security, SSDI and Railroad Retirement beneficiaries with qualifying dependents under age 17 may use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freefilefillableforms.com\/#\/fd\/EconomicImpactPayment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Non-Filers registration process<\/a> to claim the $500 payment per child.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"container text-left\">\n<h2>Are students considered as Non-Filers?<\/h2>\n<p>If someone else claimed you on their tax return, you will not be eligible for the Economic Impact Payment or using the Non-Filer tool.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"container text-left\">\n<h2>Where should I register for the coronavirus check?<\/h2>\n<p>You can provide the necessary information to the IRS easily and quickly for no fee through the Non-Filers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freefilefillableforms.com\/#\/fd\/EconomicImpactPayment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Link here<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p>Enter your Payment Info. IRS will use the information to determine your eligibility and payment amount and send you an Economic Impact Payment.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that after providing this information you won\u2019t need to take any additional action<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"section\">\n<div class=\"container text-left\">\n<h2>How difficult is the registration process?<\/h2>\n<p>Registration is very simple and easy , follow the steps below for a successful registration<\/p>\n<ol class=\"single border-0 pb-0 mb-0\">\n<li>Click on this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.freefilefillableforms.com\/#\/fd\/EconomicImpactPayment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Link<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Create an account by providing your email address and phone number; and establishing a user ID and password.<\/li>\n<li>You will be directed to a screen where you will input your filing status (Single or Married filing jointly) and personal information.<\/li>\n<li>Note: Make sure you have a valid Social Security number for you (and your spouse if you were married at the end of 2019) unless you are filing \u201cMarried Filing Jointly\u201d with a 2019 member of the military.
